UP TGT 2026 Selection Process

• Written Exam– 360 Marks
• Selection is Based on Written Exam Merit
• There is only one written exam in UP TGT Recruitment 2026.
• There are 120 MCQs questions (90 questions are subject based and 30 questions are general awareness based questions) in the Written Paper. 
• The maximum marks for the written exam are 360.
• Each Question Carries 3 Marks.
• All questions are multiple-choice type questions. No Any Descriptive paper here.
• There is 1/3 Negative Marking in UP TGT Exam 2026.

UP PGT 2026 Selection Process

Written Exam- 360 Marks

Interview- 40 Marks 

Selection is Based on Total Merit (400 Marks) based on Written Exam + Interview 

• There is only one written exam in UP TGT PGT Recruitment 2026.
